In this article we'll explain more about ClearWire – The only (FAST) wireless ISP in Brussels. It sounds quite nice – you get the box plug it in, and Presto, you are on line! This is very handy when you have two locations in Brussels or not far from Brussels.

The nice thing about it is that you can move around with an internet connection, we were able to use it at our location in Sint Pieters Leeuw – 5 km outside Brussels, at the office as an experiment and in the car with an DC inverter.
As long as you can place 'this box they provide' high up and near a window (in the clear) it works. The service is not really stable though as it's wireless based so the weather, a microwave oven, electrical interference etc... can weaken the signal or make it unavailable.

We do NOT RECOMMAND this service for people that depend on a full internet connection.
If by mistake you have signed for this service for one year and you need a stable internet connection you can improve it by placing the 'box they provide' in 'clear' positions for example the roof.

You can also connect it to a wireless router and make your own wireless connection, this is what we've actually did for one of our clients and it actually works okeish. We've placed the ClearWire box in the attic connected with a wireless router that sends the wireless secure signals all over the house.
